DIY solar air heater project:
"i just stumbled across your site again and thought i'd let you know about my
own heater project which was in-part inspired by yours and uses the same design.
mine has a surface area of about 8.6m2 and is
normally heating the living areas of the house. it cost around $1,100 to build.
it has a 35W main fan at the collector inlet and a 5W booster/diffuser fan at
the room outlet. the only modification i still want to make to it is to increase
the height of the air channels behind the aluminium sheet to reduce resistance.
at present the channels are only about 36mm high. "
